Ben and Clara tell their story over alternating time periods from when they met at university to the present. The only other thing was the strange inclusion of Newcastle City which had me perplexed for a short time, but I'm assuming it was to avoid confusion with any elements being factual. Clara did that and they planned a future together after university but circumstances didn't allow that to happen.
