We took a train into the city and spent some time there before returning to Half Moon Bay. The entire approach to the marina and its surrounding area is three feet deeper than the charts show so you have no worries on any issues with depth. The staff as well as Steve was always there for us - seemingly 24/7. People there are as friendly as can be, and management is simply awesome. One real benefit of this marina is the proximity to a good grocery store as well as the MetroNorth station for trips into New York City. A very short easy walk to the Ocean House for world class seafood or steak or food at the Tavern on Croton Landing there is not to be missed. We spent three days in New York City. Steve went above and beyond talking care of us. Expensive for what you get. The adjacent Croton Point Park, with its sheltered cove and sandy beaches, provides a perfect spot for swimming. This marina is a darling, peaceful, within walking distance to delicious restaurants and Croton Park. Whether you stay for a day, a week, or an entire season you will not be disappointed. I'll credit their location and giant sea wall. Steve who runs the marina is very attentive and helpful.
