Somebody needs to do the following. 3 Vent (This hose is often 1/4" so that leaves only 2 hoses to figure out). Feed and Return are 3/8" hose, the vent is 1/4". Club Chopper Member. Feed from the oil tank into the backside of the oil pump. I had challenging moments like yours. The lines on a lot of stock tanks all plumb into the bottom BUT, the return and vent lines have internal standpipes so the vent and return dump into the air space at the top of the tank above the oil. It was a banner fuckin year at the bender house. Wasn't thinking like that. I was thinking of using a remote filter anyway so i f this is the best option i'll just do that. I'm running a moon oil. Haven't flamed it up yet but wanted to double check my hose routing. It's only 3 hoses, no rocket science needed. I got a 71 ironhead I ought it with just motor and trans and frame I got the bike ready to ride now just need oil lines ran i got two fittings behind the camcase/ sprocket cover.
