What I didn't: For as well as the characters were developed in this book, I wanted closure and the epilogue didn't leave me feeling satiated. Both Ben and Clara are emotionally vulnerable going through typical teenage issues resulting in lot of miscommunication between them. All the characters were quite relatable, making it easy to understand their POVs and feel for them through out the many highs and lows they each faced through out the story. It's a book that makes you really feel for two flawed main characters and one that sends you on an emotional journey across the years.

I enjoyed this book a lot. I will also add that this story is more of a drama and I found it could have done with little more intrigue and suspense in parts, I did however also throughly enjoy the jumps between timelines and how it all came together in the end in a way reflective of real life! We see they are both absolutely failing without the other. We meet Clara and Ben at various times in their lives. I gobbled it up despite there being triggering topics.
