Humanoids from the Deep is a pretty mean piece of work that was made with only the purest of exploitative intentions (as was the norm in those days). I instantly didn't care about any of these morons and their fake problems and movie style behavior. New World Pictures was on a roll in the late 1970s and early 1980s with films like Piranha, The Brood, Rock 'n' Roll High School, Starcrash, and Up from the Depths – some of them more financially successful than others. That's just cold-blooded, man. They investigate the matter further and discover that there is a race of fish-men living under the sea.
