Set in 1958, All Theses Bodies is the perfect example of what happens when true crime meets supernatural fiction. It was different, and I enjoyed it so much. They reported the carvings to Sheriff Jensen, but not the attempted murder. Because he protected her and told her that after they were finished, she'd never need to be protected again. It also doesn't hurt that the cover gives me all the spooky feels that one should get when it's October. There were whole pages—whole chapters! I think this is one of the things that I kept thinking if only that thread had been developed a little bit better and there could have been a little bit more about gendered competition and energy in a later part of the movie.
